Here are some facts about Mission San Juan Capistrano's geography and architecture. Like all missions in California, Mission San Juan Capistrano is located in the coastal region, which has water and good soil for planting and growing crops. The mission was built between Mission San Gabriel Arcangel and Mission San Luis Rey de Francia.

Mission San Juan Capistrano was built from adobe bricks and tiles (for the roofs).  It has arches, a bell tower, and a
quadrangle. Mission San Juan Capistrano had six buildings. They were a storeroom, workshop, the Great Stone Church, a bell wall, the Serra Chapel and a room for the soldiers. I personally think that Mission San Juan Capistrano looks like a garden with buildings. The missions were unique because most homes didn't have arches, bells, or tiled roofs.
